The pupils in the senior room were busy putting the finishing touches on their stories and studies of trains. As part of the wrap up on their work, we were delighted to welcome guest speakers from our community. Ms. Kate Crowley gave an overview of the Clonakilty Junction Timeline Project launched last Summer. Mr. Con O’Brien gave a valuable insight in to the passenger experience. Mr. Ray Good, imparted expert knowledge on how the trains operated over the years.
Truly a day to remember in time to come. This knowledge is important to keep alive for future generations.
