The Senior room have started learning the ukuleles. Luckily we borrowed 24 ukuleles from the Cork County Council library for a few weeks this term. This was done through ‘ A Sound Initiative’ where library members were given the opportunity to borrow a variety of musical instruments. The children of Kilcolman National school learned many chords and even played a few tunes on the ukuleles as part of their Christmas performance. Well done senior room.
On the 17th of November, The Book fair visited our school. Pupils at Kilcolman we’re able to view and buy a great selection of books and stationery.
