Kilcolman National School is a mixed school with 45 pupils under the Patronage of Cork and Ross Diocese.

It has three teachers; two mainstream teachers, a special education teacher (SET) and two full time Special Needs Assistants.

In Kilcolman N.S. we have a focus on maintaining high standards of teaching and learning. Our school community works together to ensure each child is provided with opportunities to develop their potential. Our facilities and resources allow us to ensure the students in our school are active participants in the learning process.  The personal development of each child is enhanced by relationships established through involvement in programmes such as; Green Flag, Active Flag, Art, Sciath na Scol and many others.
